Top of the mornin’ to ya, readers!

This month is bursting at the seams with sugar, spice, and everything nice. And you know what’s particularly awesome about October? The amazing teas I received from #plumdeluxetea and the moments they remind me to have. Let’s pour a cuppa and review.

I eagerly waited for my tea to arrive, partially hyper and slightly anxious the parcel thief in my building might have had a taste for loose leaf. I was ecstatic when I saw the purple packaging in my mailbox and I wasn’t even in the elevator when I tore it open.
And I melted with happiness.

TEAS:

Plum Deluxe spoiled me rotten this month. The first tea I tasted was the Mindful Morning Black Tea. It’s described as, “a fresh rake on earl grey” and pairs well with “quiet moments & good conversation”.  As an avid earl grey drinker, I knew I was going to love this tea. Because it was aromatic and spicy, I expected a stronger flavor. I tend to add a few more leaves than the directions call for. It was creamy, a smooth and lightly flavored tea that wasn’t overwhelming.

Plum Deluxe’s Mindful Morning Black Tea was created with Ceylon black tea, a dash of vanilla, orange peels, Bergamot oil, and blue cornflowers. It contains caffeine, so if you’re sensitive, watch out!
This was perfect to sip in the early hours of the morning and carried me well into the afternoon. I am far from a morning person, but this tea made it bearable.
The second tea sent is Plum Deluxe’s monthly special: Cinnamon Cider Chai Tea. If you cannot imagine what this tea might taste like, imagine sipping a cup of October. Think of spices, hot apple cider, a dash of cinnamon, and the aroma of everything marvelous about Autumn. That’s this tea. Seriously!

Cinnamon Cider Chai Tea was created with Rooibos, Black Tea, Apple pieces, Ginger, Cinnamon, Clove, Orange Peels, Apple essence, and Cardamom. Pretty much everything I love crammed into a single piping hot cup.
Lastly, I received a sample of the Peace Herbal Tea. Honestly, I haven’t tried it yet. I’ve been saving it for a rainy day when I’m feeling under the weather because the ingredients are perfect for those days. It was created with Lemongrass, Licorice Root, Rooibos tea, Ginger, Peppermint, Jasmine essence, Blue Cornflowers, and Safflower.
It’s a fragrant herbal tea that contains just enough spice to relax me. So, I’m saving it for a day when I need a moment like that; a moment of peace. Maybe during finals week?

What’s your favorite cup of tea? Or do you prefer coffee? Let me know!
